Connie Dunn is a seasoned journalist with more than 30 years writing for magazines and newspapers. She is also an award-winning author, magazine publisher (see http://weepingcherryinternational
review.org), speaker, and educator. She has published more than 30 books (all available on Amazon.com), as well as many courses available online at http://publishwithconnie.com. She specializes in taking writers from concept to finished book or wherever you are through the publishing process. While marketing has the uncanny ability to turn into a can of worms, Connie can help point you toward some book marketing techniques that can also help market your business.
During Connie’s journalist days, she had a regular column in the Dallas Morning News, which focused on small and home-based businesses. For this column, she won an award from the SBA (Small Business Administration). Connie also developed course-ware for a number of start-up technology firms. For publishers, such as Prentice Hall, she was a Developmental (content) Editor. She self-published her first book in 1981, and developed a collection of stories with a collaborator in the 1990s. She writes children’s books, adult fiction, and non-fiction. Connie believes that everyone has a book in them and her greatest joy is in traveling with her students on their writing journeys.
Connie lives in Franklin, MA, with her wife, Joyce, their plus-size cat, Sophie, and their tiny 5 ½ pound Chihuahua, Rusty.
